The AAR Policy describes the quality system requirements that must be met for the organization, and its affiliated analysts, to qualify for registration. The registration process and policies for AAT participation are also included.

An organization should ensure that it can meet the requirements of the policy prior to submitting an application.

The AAR Policy document is currently under revision. Upcoming changes to the AAR policy include the following:

  1. Analyst affiliation clarification – requires clarification of the relationship between the analyst and your organization. The analyst shall be an employee of your organization, or a contractor for your organization. Other types of relationships will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  2. Establishment of new analyst application submission deadlines –
    1. Regular or transfer enrollment - analyst application must be submitted online within 60 business days of enrollment date or analyst will be unenrolled.
    2. Expedited enrollment - analyst application must be submitted online within 20 business days of enrollment date or analyst will be unenrolled.
  3. Quality System Training (QST) and Technical Training (TT) – A new TT/QST form has been created to help simplify and clarify reporting of the elements and dates of AAR required training. Available here. Will also be available to download from within the online application, beginning October 1st, 2024.
